Who Will Roman Reigns Face At WWE WrestleMania 32?

Roman Reigns facing John Cena or Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32 looks to be what makes the most sense, Dave Meltzer writes in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Roman Reigns is the new WWE World Champion! Ugh!!!:

The Cena match was the plan prior to the Rollins injury, and face or heel, it would be a passing of the torch moment. But right now, Meltzer believes “the Lesnar match has the most potential.”




A few other names get mentioned in the report, but these are the outside bets compared to Cena and Brock. The other options would be going back to turning Dean Ambrose heel, or getting Kevin Owens over enough to step up to a main event role. Meltzer even bats around the idea that The Undertaker could win the Rumble and go against Reigns. But really, these would be the surprise options. Reigns would be booed out of the building against Taker.



The other name to think about in all of this is Triple H. Yes, Cena and Lesnar make sense for the WWE title spot, but there’s a clear direction for Reigns and Hunter clashing. That bout doesn’t need the WWE title, so either Reigns loses before Mania, or they do the Hunter match before / after April 3. Meltzer believes it could be Royal Rumble or WrestleMania.
